Greater flexibility in programming special profiles

May 4, 2026 12:16:21 PM

Machine programming for laser cutting of tubes and metal profiles utilizes various automated processes converting 3D drawing provided by the customer to the finished part in just a few clicks. This is made possible by ArTube, our CAD/CAM programming software, which works in perfect harmony with our Lasertube systems and communicates the operations to be performed by the machine, preventing any internal collisions.

There are, however, metal profiles with more complex shapes that include flanges or other specific elements requiring greater attention during machining to prevent collisions between the laser head and the profile, or between the profile and other parts of the machine. These are known as special profiles.

Reducing rejected parts in 3D laser cutting

Feb 17, 2026 5:09:31 PM

In any production process, the possibility of unexpected events and therefore rejected parts in production is always present. Production managers know this well: disruptions are not exceptions, but a structural element of manufacturing that must be managed consciously and systematically.

To reduce rejected parts in 3D laser cutting, action can be taken on several levels: prevention, monitoring, rapid response, and continuous learning. Being able to simplify, through technology, the process that minimizes these unexpected events is one of the keys to optimizing production.

Right- and left-hand bending for tubes with large diameter, thick or high rigidity

May 8, 2025 9:21:57 AM

Tube benders for large diameter tubes and bars are systems capable of applying the considerable thrust forces and bending torque required to bend large pipes and are also able to optimally control the force exerted on the tube and the deformation of the material through the interpolated movement of the core, slide and clamping.

Tube laser cutting for agricultural machinery and light structures

Nov 27, 2024 2:09:22 PM

Companies that work as job shops, especially within sectors for agricultural machinery frame production and the construction of light structures, commonly work with a very wide variety of tubes and profiles in terms of diameter, thickness and material that often requires creative solutions.

Typically, the choice is limited to two types of systems: large-diameter tube and profile laser cutting systems capable of handling very heavy tubes, beams and profiles, or specific systems for smaller-diameter tubes and profiles where maximizing performance and productivity is what matters.

When the size and weight of the bars processed vary greatly, such as in the production of agricultural machinery or light structures, the optimal solution may be a laser cutting machine that offers high performance even on a range of medium-large tubes, paving the way to increased competitiveness in these sectors.

Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) in laser cutting for Aerospace components

Sep 19, 2024 7:45:00 AM

In aerospace and aeronautical manufacturing, fiber lasers have revolutionized cutting techniques and now standing toe-to-toe with non-thermal methods, offering high quality cuts with minimal Heat Affected Zone (HAZ). In fact, modern fiber lasers drastically reduce material embrittlement and process components at speeds that far exceed machining and other non-thermal technologies.
